I'm 12 and I live on a saltwater canal in rockport Texas and I got water stuck in my ear and I cant get it out I have tried using hydrogen peroxide and leaning my head . . . the water is stuck in my right ear and It is very irritated . . . I try the suction thing with the palm of your hand . . . nothing works . . . can you help me

I live in Sacramento, CA. I receive special benefits, both SSA & SSI through my disability. Could be several things. One of your memory ports could be bad. The memory stick itself could be bad. You could have something in the bios adjusted with respect to memory..or you could be running an operating system that only recognizes that much ram. May need a techie to figure that one out.

Whats wrong with my laptop?

I have a MacBook laptop purchased in 2009 so it is relatively new. I spilled a little bit of water on it about a month ago. The numbers on my keyboard work and so do all of the top buttons but most of the keys on the keyboard dont work. When I start a game though (The Sims 3) my keyboard works in the cheat bar so I know it recognizes the buttons that I am pushing. Also it makes a beep sound when I press the buttons. Is this a software problem or will it require a hardware repair?

Cats reuniting after almost 2 years... can they be friends again?

OK I have two cats in my house now: One small shy young female and one much older (and starting to get a little cranky) male. They used to live together almost two years ago, but due to some unforseen circumstances, they were separated for two years and now I have to take the female in again. They seem to recognize each other, but one gets too close and the other hisses. Now the poor little female won't leave my side. I tried to make them share treats, play with the same string, share the same catnip scratchy-board, and even found some marbles that the female and the male used to play with to get them to like each other again. Everything works up to a point, and then they hiss at each other and won't share the same room until I bring one in. I have errands to run and I don't feel comfortable leaving the house if all I come home to is two kitties who have battle scars from fighting all day. What do I do??

Orange light on my Canon SX20 Camera?

I tried to upload photos today on my computer from my camera, but for some reason when I connected the cable from my camera to the computer, my computer couldn't recognize anything. 5 month old with cough and now fever?

my son is almost 5 months. hes had this cough for 4 days now. took him to urgent care friday they said his lungs were fine didnt give me anything and sent us home. today, day 4, he has fever of 100. i know its not real high but hes never had fever before. his cough is dry raspy and he sounds like hes weezing sometimes. ive been watching his chest and his breathing pattern seems to be staying the same. i am going to call pedi first thing in the morning. he also has a snotty nose and i try to suction it but nothing comes out, even with saline drops. what could be wrong? he keeps waking himself up coughing, and coughs while awake.

My bf put a dent in my car, what should I do?

Can I use sealant to stick on a rear view mirror?

My rear view mirror keeps falling off. I've tried the loctite rear view mirror glue from Halfords. It worked for about 8 weeks, then the mirror came off again. I've bought a new mirror that sticks on with a suction pad (good reviews online), but this fell off within 24 hours. I was wondering whether adding some all purpose sealant to the suction pad would be successful in making it hold? Has anyone tried sealant to stick a rear view mirror? I had the same problem as you, the first thing you need to do is relax and don't rush yourself. when you are scared you tighten up automatically. Try putting one leg up on a toilet seat and insert it that way, don't use the cardboard applicators definitely use plastic. Also use the least absorbancy that you need, the least absorbent, the smaller the tampon. They only hurt to pull out if they havent been used enough and are still dry, if it is full of blood it comes out piece of cake. Also try taking the tampon out in the same position you put it in, and don't forget, relax! Also im not sure what Katie G is talking about but its impossible to get an STD from a tampon.

Opinions on breast pump and baby bottles (Medela brand)?

I am using an Ameda Purely Yours and I absolutely love it! The only complaint I have is that the pump is not hand-free like the Medela. But, it's easier to clean, it's not really loud, and it pump really well. I've been pumping 4-5 times a day for over two months now and I would not use any other pump except this one! Alright well, I went through that too, but you'll find it's not as difficult as you may think. Get a very lite tampon with or without an applicator and just try it on your heaviest flow and see if you can't manage. Leave it in for 3-4 hours and then try to take it out. If it hurts, leave it in for another hour. If it still hurts, then you need to sit in the bathtub and get warm water and lotion all over it and then slowly, but firmly pull. It will get better after that :)

Also check bp before doing any breathing treatments since if high you cannot put in trendelenberg. Oh and the hme and circuits fall off sometimes so do not freak out just put them back on. Usually the circuit will come off at the stoma site or near the nose. If you can get a safety holder for the trach even better since it holds the suction catheter on at trach.

He named several reasons, among which mentioned his speculations about my weed use (and that once he found a bud at the workplace, but again, I was never confronted about that); but then also that I had a "root caries problem typical in people with a long-term history of drug abuse). Now, first of all, I do not use any prescription or street drugs except marijuana, and I certainly was not abusing anything of what he suspected me. That, however, made my mom freak out and begin thinking that I'm a heroin-shooting junkie or what-not. But what perplexed me the most is that he used my personal PATIENT information (not employee information!) to spread rumors about me and to speculate something that is not true. What I am afraid of is that now I will have trouble finding a new job because of the previous employer badmouthing me, and I am sure that he will use his "extensive dental knowledge" of my "Root caries" to justify his fears/speculations of my "methamphetamine/whetevercausestoothdeca… use and try to warn other potential employers. In addition to what is described above, he also did a lot of illegal stuff like not entering some patients' names into the computer database in order to charge them whatever special price he wanted while avoiding reporting that income and, therefore, taxes; or putting me, without any license or previous experience, to assist with the patient (i.e. to hold the suction tip in the patient mouth, etc). What should I do for the fin rot of two male betta fish in a 2.5 gallon filtered and heated divided tank?

So, I have two male betas in a divided 2.5 gallon tank. It has an under gravel filter and small heater. One is a crown tail the other is a split tail. The water has aquarium salt in it. The temperature is usually 75-80 degrees or so, I think (I'm not at home right now). On of them got a torn fin after an encounter between the two of them due to my not properly inserting the divider (they were both fine and seemed to be at somewhat of a truce on opposite sides of the tank with the split tail having a torn fin). The fin rot seems to been caused by that and now both have some degree of fin rot (due to my own laziness, yes it was stupid, i know that now). I've been reading on different sites but I just wanted some input on this particular situation. I have some, I think Mardel, fin rot treatment at home that I have not yet used. Should I put the two of them in separate tanks for this, I don't gave another open filtered and heated tank so it would just have to be a fish bowl? I gathered from the site I should do a water change but how much? or should I just clean the whole thing completely filter, rocks and all? The water content in Nepal is high in rust sometimes depending on where you live. I get water from underground so rust comes in the water and now it is blocking our shower pipe so we can't get cold water shower but for some reason we get hot water shower. I cant start my mower! Tried everything!?

My mower starts and then dies when I prime it. It seems like it runs of the fuel that I use to prime it. Its got a 2006 Tecumseh with the chokeless carb(it bypasses to the block) I know Im getting spark but cant keep this thing running. Its getting fuel to the bowl no problem because when i pull the bowl off and let the float drop the fuel comes pouring out if I dont pinch the fuel line. The choke bypass hose had some damage to it which I repaired and confirmed that the hose that hooks to the carb is getting suction. I removed the carb and cleaned everything out and made sure I could get fluid into the center of the carb through the jet and made sure the bolt that feeds the fuel is clean and can allow free flow of fuel. Ive also replaced the spark plug and air filter for good measure. I'm at a loss.

Is it this bad that I can't find a job (2011)?

[I miss working at Martin Brower and Valspar] I been laid off since October of 2010 and I knew it was coming because the same issue happen to a previous warehouse I worked at, Martin Brower(2005). Last year I worked for Valspar a Plant/DC site that lost the Walmart account. So that means a decrease in the work load and less money for the company. When I first I heard that we were losing the account during the meeting it was a flashback for me all over again when I was worked for Martin Brower it a similar situation because they lost the Quiznos account so that's how I knew. Some of the employees had no clue because they never been laid before and some had very few warehouse experience. It took about a month before the company announce what was really going to happen during the process of losing the Walmart account and everyone had their own ideas of what was going to happen but I knew differently someone was gettin' laid off and majority of times they go by seniority. It just tough looking for work right now. It's tough in general for me, just life period. I just have to say something because I am tired of being beat down when I'm trying my best to make my life better, **** happens. Growing up was a **** hole for me and still is... Can't I just find a decent job that will help me pay my bills and help me save for my future? I can't even go to school because that requires money, Money, Money, Money. Right now I am living in a low-income studio and my only income is my unemployment benefit and that won't even last. I just want to go to work and go to school part time like I did in the previous years. Is there anyone else who is the same boat as me? I been looking and drive around. I even applied at probably 6-7 different counties in the bay area and in the valley of California.The worst part is I live in Stockton, California now, I mean I had to move back here again after the lay off. Stockton is all bad, I lived here for about 20+ years so I know what I am talking about when it comes to employment in this corrupt city. I tried various website, you name it, I applied and registered. Sometimes what I do is drive around and write on a piece of paper the name company that I can find and come back home and apply online and at time I do go to the front clerk and ask for application and majority of times they would they have an online application on their website. Or I would google for example "warehouse distribution center, California" and list of companies would pop up and I would apply and send a resume to all of them. I would look through out Sacramento County, San Joaquin County, Bay Area Counties just looking for any jobs that I feel that I qualify. I made account with Careerbuilder.com, Indeed, Caljobs.ca.gov, etc.. It goes on. The main thing I see most are jobs that require a certificate or degree. I have none so it is going to be a challenge for me. Other than just warehouse jobs, I do look for other types of jobs like: production worker, material handler, truck driver assistant, merchandiser, store associates, etc. Please feel free to give some pointers and feel free to tell your side of the story if you are going through the same thing. Cannot get my new deep well water convertible jet pump to prime?

my well is 72 ft. deep, approx. 40 years old. have been using shallow well pumps,3/4 hp., the whole time with great results. Lawn sprinkler repair man replaced with convertible deep well jet pump, also he installed "short" venturi tube into ejector. {shallow well pump bit dust during freeze, not winterized properly}. We cannot get pump to pick up prime. I have filled 72 ft. pipe full of water and filled primer plug hole with water, I can place hand over pipe and feel strong suction when pump is running, so i feel like pump is providing good negative pressure to system...but prime will not pick up. Pump motor is set to correct watt/amp of 115. Air tank is new with pressure set at 18 lbs., pressure switch is 20-40psi {basically irrelevent at this point} Things I'm not sure of: 1- If well ran dry 2-If pipe has deteriorated/has a hole. 3- what is at bottom of 40 yo pipe...footvalve? screen? ect. 4- if well collapsed {won't prime, so don't know if sediment is present.What should I do at this point? Well is only used for lawn sprinkler system. House is on city water. Only 1 pipe exits ground going to pump with one inline brand new brass check valve. Repairman suggests installing pvc pipe down inside steel pipe {72 ft.} at a cost of $300.00 bucks. I figure water should be located first. I live in Tidewater, Va., and I believe we are in some form of a drought, we are 7 inches shy of water according to news orgs. Any suggestions or information will be greatly appreciated.

Would living at Sacramento, CA be a good place to live?

Sacramento is not a bad little town. It has a nice downtown, it has lots of nice neighborhoods. It's not too far from the mountains and the Bay Area, the Gold Country, the Wine Country, the coast, the redwoods, so you have lots of places to go on weekends. It's not horribly expensive to live there, at least compared to the big cities on the coast. The only real problem (to me) is the heat. But it bothers some people more than others. There are no celebrities there unless you consider state politicians as celebrities. 8^)

Some old canister vacuums have it, but it is just "BLING" . All vacuums I have tested out have 7 PSI suction if they were mobile units. Even workshop ones. I just consider that to be a hole in the hose.(or totally useless)

The house I live in has a leaky roof, sewage coming up from my basement floor, my upstairs bathroom leaks into my downstairs dining room, most of my windows either are stuck closed or have cracks in them, it is very poorly insulated, my closets have leaks from the roof, and the space between my front porch and house leak every time it rains. Skimmer hose stuck in pool drain at the very bottom of the pool?

We just reopened out pool, spending $1600 dollars. We hadn't put the drain covers back on and put chlorine and acid in the pool when we notice the hose from the skimmer was stuck in there. I got in there and pulled it really hard, afraid it was gonna snap. I know some of the hard plastic knobs are in the PVC drain under the concrete at the bottom of the pool because it's really stuck good. I don't see a way to reverse the pool suction and it's stuck so bad that might not work, if it's possible to reverse the suction. Any suggestions and repair estimates will be greatly appreciated. I need help with a sewing project?

Contacts burn when in warm spaces?

I wear soft contacts and they are comfortable when I am at school, working out/ playing sports and at home. But when I go to the mall or a school dance, they start burning. Above ground well pump no pressure/suction from inlet.?

I found an old well casing in my back yard, and found that it still contained water, and plenty of it. I went and purchased a well pump, installed it and new Pvc drop pipe, primed the motor, and got nothing. Later thinking that something was wrong on the inlet side, I placed a hose into a 5 gal bucket attached it to the pump, primed it again, turned it on, and still no pressure. Motor seems to run fine. Any ideas?

my little brother and my sister both have their iPod touches connected to iTunes and it says their iPod and their names on the left side on iTunes. they said that when they plugged their iPod's in the computer recognized them immediately. but when i plug my iPhone into the computer a window pops up and says what system i would like to use for my iPhone camera. we all use the same account. and i just bought the movie battle los angeles it hasn't downloaded yet and you can only see it in movies and downloads. how can i get itunes to read my iphone and get that movie on my iphone? please help! thanks!

16 month old allergies or something else?

Low head high suction fixed orifice?

I have a 15 year old Coleman Heat pump that is acting a bit unusual. About 3 months ago the A coil was changed out as it had been leaking for some time. As far as I know the system has been running fine this entire time. Last week it just quit cooling. I hook up gauges, and I have high suction low head. I take the temps across the reversing valve and they are within 2 degrees of each-other (83). That tells me it is bad valves in the compressor. So I changed out the compressor. I still have the same problem. So I look into the history of the unit to see that the coil had been changed, and start to think that the orifice in the new coil is to big, and allows to much liquid through. This is what I think, and I am seeking other opinions for as I said the system has been running fine for 3 months, and then one day not. I am just a bit baffled by this. Any help or advice would be nice.

How to readily identify low & high pressure lines in split AC system for hooking up the gages?

I'm trying to measure the pressure of the refrigerant in the 1.5 ton split ac system in connection with a suspected leak. Of the two 1/4" ports at the compressor which is low ? One port is connected to a 7/16" dia exposed copper tubing. The other is connected to an insulated 1" dia copper tubing. I found no web site that clearly describes the physical looks of these lines associating with their respective names. I believe there are other terms used for low pressure line such as suction line and any other synonyms without mentioning means of physically identifying. May be basic but essential for DIY projects. I have the new ipod touch and I just installed the new itunes. My computer will not detect the ipod in any way but it will charge it. So I happen to use my tv as my speakers for my computer. Today I happened to say forget this big bulky tv i just need the board and the speakers with power supply. So I opened the casing too out the circuit board and disconnected all the wired from the tube except there was one red wire left with a suction cup to the tube. It seemed hard to get off so the power supply was already disconnected from the wall. and when i pulled at it I got the massive shock of my life. I felt so much shock from my hands first of course all the way to my elbows and shoulder blades felt like all my bones snapped in half then I dropped to the floor and my heart was pounding hardcore. I then open my door and layed outside for like 5 minutes. My 3 month old baby boy.?

My son started doing the same thing around the 3 month mark too. I took him to the doctor and he had RSV. So we got him a humidifier and put some sea salt in it and just suctioned out him nose regularly and kept everything really clean. They said that's all we could really do, unless it got worse. And we had to go back in a week to see if it helped.Which it did, He was feeling better in about a week. He had a cough also with his that went away after about two weeks. Humidifier was a huge help! But i would at least make an appointment for him just in case.
