True Blood Question! Fans answer please?

So I just watched last episode of True Blood and I read some of the comments. Everyone was saying Eric lost his memory after the witches spelled him but when I was watching I thought that he actually came back to life. I mean withces were talking about bringing a dead body back to life and Eric came and they did some curse or something then his vampire teeth went away he looked less charming like a normal human being and he didn't recognized sookie! So what do you think. Did he became a human being or did I lost my mind ? =) Thanks
