Should my retainer be easy to take out?

I just got my braces off last Thursday and I got a retainer on the top. At first it fit tightly and I had to push it a certain way to take it out now that I assume it is more fit to my mouth it is fairly easy to take out and I can take it out with my tongue. Is this normal? I haven't been messing with it or anything and it doesn't cone out by itself just when I suction my tongue to it I pull it out with my tongue (found that out by accident)
