Would living at Sacramento, CA be a good place to live?

Sacramento is not a bad little town. It has a nice downtown, it has lots of nice neighborhoods. It's not too far from the mountains and the Bay Area, the Gold Country, the Wine Country, the coast, the redwoods, so you have lots of places to go on weekends. It's not horribly expensive to live there, at least compared to the big cities on the coast. The only real problem (to me) is the heat. But it bothers some people more than others. There are no celebrities there unless you consider state politicians as celebrities. 8^)
